Welcome to the anniversary edition of the blog!!!
It’s been one full year already!!!
I’m extremely grateful to God, family, friends and you, my blog readers and beautiful community that supported me through this past year!!!
My dear blog readers, you are the reason why Roses of Life turned ONE today. Without you, I would have dropped out since. Thanks for all the views, shares, likes and comments.
You are all amazing!.
I’ve been running this blog for a year and I must say that it has been an experience and not just an ordinary experience but a wonderful one. Starting this blog wasn’t so easy as I was reasonably new to the blogosphere but as time went by, while trying to make my site look better, I learnt how to design websites and…I know what you are thinking…yes, I designed this site myself. It took a lot of discipline, hard work and consistency but at the end, I did it.
Well, this isn’t my first blog…yes…I know you are probably shocked. There was one other before this. I actually kind of ran away from blogging but it sure has a way of drawing you back. When I thought everything (the former blog, it lasted only a few weeks) was a flop, Roses of Life showed up.
The site suddenly seemed friendly, inspiration came and everything (theme, blog name and tagline, content) changed.
That was how Roses of Life was born (out of inspiration)…cool, right!.
I wish I could just say that Roses of Life started running and everything was sweet and rosy but if I say that, it would be a lie.
“Blogging is a journey, not a destination, adjust and flow with the community.
Blogging is a process, don’t rush the process or you’ll tumble over and remain sad.
This also implies to your careers, businesses or whatever else you are doing. Don’t rush any process, go through the process. Walk yourself through the process and you’ll get results and not just results but good results”
Like other things you do in life, it had challenges too. There were down times and of course, pleasant times. They were hurdles that needed to be crossed. There were barriers that needed to be broken and people that needed to be reached, the workload of putting quality content together was there but God saw me through it all. At some point, I actually kind of quit (for 3 months, not a single post, I thought it was all over) but this wonderful support system we’ve got here brought me back and I just knew, “this is for me, carry on lady” and guess what?
The “come back” was stronger, my community went whoooooooooooooooooooo.
My support community (you, my blog readers) is the reason why this anniversary came through!!!.
Thank you so much guys!. I couldn’t have made it without you!
I love you!!!
My main message for you today is:
“Believe in yourself even nobody does and you’ll see good results!”
“A man is old when he stops learning, whether he is 20 or 80”
Just keep learning, it doesn’t kill. It only empowers you with knowledge!
“If you want a thing bad enough, never to tire of it and if you could lose your sleep and peace for it, WITH THE HELP OF GOD, YOU’LL GET IT”
By the way, as a blogger or entrepreneur or writer or vlogger, what has been your most pleasant moment?
Also, mention the most unpleasant and tell us how you pulled through that phase.
Thanks for sticking true!!!
Cheers till my next post!!!
I love you!!!
