Hi everyone!

I hope your week has been as beautiful as mine!

I recently decided to be doing weekly questions to engage you, the readers and I hope you get to love this trend as much as I do!.

Today, we’ll be talking about books.

What books have you read within the past one year and which one was the best?

Mention the genre, type and name of the books and for the favourite one, give a little synopsis/summary of the book.

Comment all these below!

I can’t wait to read your comment!

Please, feel free to share with your friends, so that they all join this beautiful community!

Meanwhile, there’s a facebook group I recently created. It’s called “The Bloggers Crib”. Feel free to search for it and join our community on facebook or follow a direct link The Bloggers Crib to join the group. It’s for writers, bloggers, entreprenuers and youtubers/vloggers!

If you are interested in joining the group, you could just comment below with your facebook name and I’ll add you to the group!.

Before then, comment on what books you’ve been reading lately and in the past one year and which one has been your favourite and give us the type and genre for them and add a synopsis to your favorite book.

If you have book goals for the year or you are running a book challenge/bookathon, comment on what your goals are and what books you would be reading.

It’s a sign out here!

Enele a.k.a. Aunty J. loves you!

  1. This is a good topic to discuss. Books are important and such a big part of life. I have to say that the book that I have read the most this year is the Bible. Many people do not realize it, but the Bible is full of so much that is fascinating: love, family, mystery, romance, war, sex, murder, intrigue, redemption, and so much more.

  2. My favorite I’ve read in the past year was The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan. Not something I’d ordinarily read but once I picked it up, I couldn’t put it down. It’s basically a story of mothers and daughters.

  3. Hmm I’ll have to search out your group on Facebook. I had a goal last year to read a dozen books and fell short. The last book I read was “Live your Dreams” by Les Brown. Great book. My next one I’m starting is by Louis Hay “You can Heal your life”.

  4. I am big on Bios. The most recent one that I read was The Time of My Life by Patrick Swayze . I love how real and honest it was… Nothing “fru fru”. I found it captivating how open he was.

  5. I am presently reading origin by Dan Brown. Genre is thriller and mystery. I was also able to catch up on the private series collection by James Patterson.

  6. I have been reading the Secret History of the American Empire which basically is written by an ex-economic hitman who worked for the US government and he exposes so much corruption and horrible ways that our very own government has exploited impoverished people around the world!

  7. 1 of my goals this year is to read more books, as I keep procrastinating until the year passes 🙁 Last year I read ‘The Secret’ and ‘Make It Count’, both are self-help books. ‘The Secret’ speaks to different aspects of your life and how to approach them, while ‘Make It Count’ is a quick read (~50 pages) with inspiration drawn from the personal experiences of the author. If i had to choose a favourite, it would be ‘The Secret’

  8. I haven’t being so consistent at reading books..lol. I most times read write-ups and related stuff but the last book I read is a Christian book “seeking the face of God for the next level” by Edmund Tansi Emakpor

  9. For the past 3 years, I’ve been reading OSHO. He was an Indian philosopher with great influence to the western world and every one of his books is better than the previous! They are about self-improvement and understanding!

  10. I haven’t had a chance to read a real book in so long, and generally stick to spiritual reading anyway. But lately I’ve been helping a friend edit her new novel, called “A Warrior’s Journey”, about a pagan warrior who goes on a journey to find the One True God. So that takes up a lot of time!

  11. I don’t even know where to start. I have read so many books last year. I think my favorite is Women Who Run With Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. It’s mostly in the psychology & self-help categories I think. I rarely pay attention to genres, I’m a nerd who just loves to read. The book is mostly a collection of stories and legends centered around feminine intuition, strength and more.
P.S. a big yes to joining the Facebook group!!

  12. I read A book named UNHOLY EMPIRE by Brian Sheffeur. The book has instilled in it about the first days starting with Adam and Eve but what I found fascinating was the several discussion the angels Had and Of the Devil too.. wow so much about it that I can’t wait to get the remaining Two BOoks I.e Final confrontation and The Seed. ah love it….!!! goodBlogForGreatLessons

  13. Don’t laugh! But I haven’t read any books in a year! I adore reading and used to read constantly but life got in my way! However, my daughter (a VERY avid reader) is urging me to start the Harry Potter series, which I’m going to start soon. I know I will enjoy them and then maybe I can understand some of the things she says LOL!

  14. It’s been awhile since I actually read a book. I know…I’m bad. The last one I read was Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Historical fiction, by Jamie Ford.
