The strips of justice over flowed with warmth.
The garden swarm with praises at the break of
The hibiscuses and daffodils arose and swayed from side to side.
The wind was beyond the power of the sun.
The nectar of the daffodils were as sweet as honey and would be poisonous if they were to be sweeter.
I did taste them, you know
I sat in the middle of the garden, physically, but was in Sola’s house in my daydreams.
Sola was a very nice man,
What wasn’t he ready to do for you.
He prayed for you.
Took you on awesome dates.
Bought you flowers,
Not only on valentines day but on forth-nightly basis.
Cooked with you when he came over or when you went to his house.
Played with you and told you the jokes of life.
Yes, there was a but
I never wanted to marry him,
He was a soldier,
How could I possibly marry a naval officer?,
At least, not with everything that came with it.
He probably wasn’t going to have time for us and be on duty
Which would mostly be unprepared for by me.
If he ever asked me to marry him, would I say Yes
Or would I simply decline with a flimsy excuse.
I was confused…or may be not because this was the time I had been waiting for all my life.
To be called someone’s wife.
Not just someone but a man I love and cherish.
Even though I love him, the fact still remains that he’s a soldier and I had vowed as child never to marry a soldier.
I sure had too many criteria on that, let’s not even go into that.
May be I actually love him. Let’s give it a try, that is if he is ready to change status.
